Ьгeаtһtаkіпɡ footage shows a ѕᴜЬmeгɡed hiking trail in Brazil, which was transformed into a colourful underwater world after days of heavy rain. The video, ѕһot at Recanto Ecologico Rio da Prata reserve close to the southwestern town of Bonito, shows walkways, bridges, and rainforest drowned in several feet of crystal clear water. At first it is hard to see that the cameraman – reserve worker Waldemilson Vera – is underwater, but when he tilts the lens towards the water’s surface it becomes clear that he is swimming and not walking along while filming. At the moment, 74 people from the Russian plane are said to have been injured during the emergency landing that happened in no other than a cornfield. No fatalities from the crash were reported. Three people were taken to the hospital right away…
Let’s face it, we’re not all cut out to be in the service industry. As it turns out, not all dogs are suitable for service work, either. In a video that’s going viral online, a dog named Ryker is trying his hardest to become a certified service dog with Double H Canine Training Academy in Louisville, Kentucky. Ryker is a sweet German shepherd who really wants to please his trainers, but at the same time, he also really wants to chase any tennis ball that comes his way. Like, a lot. When Ivan was on his way on the motorway, he saw a dog drowning in the frozen lake and without second thoughts, jumped in to save him! It’s amazing, the things humans can do. On one hand we have people who torture animals and trouble them for their personal pleasures while on the other hand you have people who go to any extent to save animals. One such heart-warming story is that of Ivan from Russia. When Ivan was on his way on the motorway, he came across a man with a broken car. While helping the man, his eyes…
Like many parents, Michael and Michelle Bower were over the moon when they learned they were expecting their first child. The Indiana couple were especially excited that they were having a girl, but a 20-week ultrasound plunged the future of their family into uncertainty. The scan showed their daughter, Lacey, has spina bifida, a type of neural tube defect that can cause paralysis, changes to the brain, and severe trauma injuries to the nerves. Facebook “We had just found out that we were having a girl the day before,” Michelle recalled. “We wanted a girl. We went from the highest of…

The father of the teen driver in a fatal Scarsdale crash said he warned his son not to drive as heartbreaking images emerged of the young victims. “I told him, his mother told him, his older brothers told him, stop driving without a license, without a permit,” the teen’s father, also named Malik Smith, told CBS News. “Anything happens, you get pulled over, you get in trouble for these things. Stop doing this.” Smith and four other young relatives were killed when 16-year-old Smith crashed off a Scarsdale parkway in the early hours of Sunday. Pictures of those that perished — between ages 8 and…
For a country with a population of just over 10 million people, it’s impressive that Sweden can maintain one of the best fighter aircraft programs. An aircraft’s effectiveness is no longer determined mainly by how fast it can fly. Now it’s about how instant AI can interpret information and present the data for pilots to act upon in battle. Unlike US or Russian fighters, Swedish Gripen can’t carry the most weapons, has no real stealth. To be clear, it isn’t the longest-range, the fastest, or even the cheapest jet. Nevertheless, Sweden has chosen another niche to compete. The country’s focus…
Why the Super Tomcat 21 Was Not To Be: Designed to incorporate the air combat experience learned during the Vietnam wᴀʀ, the Grumman F-14 was the first of the American “Teen Series” fighter jets that would include the F-15 Eagle, F-16 Fighting Falcon, and the F/A-18 Hornet. During its three decades in service with the United States Navy, the F-14 Tomcat more than lived up to the role it was initially designed for, drawing blood in combat and even getting its moment in the spotlight in the film Top Gun. The carrier-based multi-role fighter was developed after the United States…
Retired US Air Force pilot Lt. Col. Dan Hampton gave his opinion on the Russian Su-35 Flanker fighter. According to him, quoted by @PStyle0ne1 on Twitter, the Su-35 only looks good, but in reality, is “junk”. “My opinion, and that of most professional fighter pilots, is that the Su-35 is a typical Russian machine and it looks nice. They give it a nice paint job, put all kinds of cool stars on it and all that. But deep down, it’s not really that good of a plane. It looks good at air shows, but my personal opinion is that its junk,” the former Air…
As soon as 2023, the United States military could have a new spacecraft to transport troops to space and low Earth orbit locations anywhere in the world within three hours. Colorado-based aerospace company Sierra Space announced Sept. 8, 2022 that it signed a research and development contract with the U.S. Transportation Command to develop options to transport military crews and cargo around the world using the “Dream Chaser” space plane. The Dream Chaser space plane is a 7-passenger winged shuttle-like plane that launches to space on a rocket and flies back to Earth, landing on a runway. It’s designed to be highly reusable, as…

In December 2017, The New York Times broke the ice on the blockbuster story that in 2004, US Navy pilots and ship personnel onboard the USS Nimitz encountered UFOs over a period of two weeks off the coast of Southern California – unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) whose performances stunned seasoned pilots and eventually the world as videos taken by radar were made public. That major story opened a military UFO Pandora’s Box as more personnel came forward to report similar encounters in 2014 and 2015. However, no military-UAP encounters stirred political leaders in Washington DC more than the swarms of…
Few people in recent history have had more books written about them that Winston Churchill, most notably for his time as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom during the Second World War. Today, we look to TikTok viewer totals as a sign of popularity … and Sir Winston recently tallied up a sizable number for a clip taken from yet another harbinger of modern popularity – the Joe Rogan Show. The clip is actually of Harvard professor and noted extraterrestrial life and spaceship theorist Avi Loeb, who proposes in the clip that Churchill was also a believer in extraterrestrial life…
A tiny, 120 million-year-old fossil, discovered in northeast China, is neither bird nor dinosaur but is perched on its own evolutionary branch, somewhere in between. While the 2-centimeter-long (0.75-inch) skull of this little fella holds similarities to much larger dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus rex, its thin and delicate body looks more like modern-day crown birds, such as sparrows or hummingbirds. Careful CT scans and a detailed reconstruction of the fossil suggest this bizarre avian species once belonged to an extinct group of early birds called enantiornithines, or “opposite birds”. Some other enantiornithines that have been discovered are no larger than a cockroach. This new one is slightly bigger…
In busy cities, it’s not often that we get a moment of respite for activities such as cloud-gazing. Yet, every now and then, we do get treated to some ѕрeсtасᴜɩаг natural phenomena that brighten up our days. The latest example was a ѕрeсtасᴜɩаг cloud shaped like a dragon soaring across sky at sunset. Needless to say, a photo of the ѕtᴜппіпɡ cloud shared online has left netizens awestruck, though many were also intimidated by its fearsome appearance. On the evening of 9th May, took to his personal Facebook page to post a jаw-dropping picture. In it, a streak of black clouds…
In a waterlogged ditch in a field near the village of Twyford, Buckinghamshire, a team of experts working for the HS2 archaeological contractor Fusion JV were stunned but delighted to discover an exceptionally rare early Roman-era wooden statue. The Roman-era wooden statue was partially degraded but still a recognizable carved wooden statue of a male figure dressed in a tunic. The 26-inch (67-centimeter) tall and seven-inch (18-centimeter) wide statue is unmistakably Roman, which is shown by its unique clothing and distinctively Roman hat and hairstyle, among other revealing details. Based on the style of dress, plus the carving procedures that…
