Piers Morgan believes Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag should beg for forgiveness if Arsenal achieve Premier League title glory.
The Old Trafford boss has overseen an incredible upturn in form from his side, coinciding with Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit in November.
The 37-year-old’s departure came about after he gave a bombshell interview to Piers Morgan in which he criticised the club, the owners the Glazers and United’s young players.
The Portuguese star also fired shots at former boss Ralf Rangnick as well as Ten Hag, which led to United and Ronaldo mutually agreeing to part ways.
Arsenal fan Morgan admitted he has been keeping a close eye on the Red Devils in their post-Ronaldo era with many suggesting recent results show Ten Hag was right to offload the player.

But the TalkTV presenter told talkSPORT he doesn’t agree with that theory and backs the Gunners to see off an in-form Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
“Why don’t you come back and ask me at 6.30pm on Sunday and see how cocky they’re all feeling at United then?,” Morgan replied when asked whether United are better without the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
“I’ve been watching it all. They’ve been beating a few teams and they had a good result against City.
“Let’s not get the bunting out just yet, I think we’re going to absolutely demolish them on Sunday and then at that moment I will remind them that they managed to lever out the greatest footballer in history because they thought that was a great idea.
“The other question I would ask is will any of this brilliant new United team score as many goals for United this season as Ronaldo did for them last season?”
A win for Ten Hag’s side this weekend would cut the gap between the two clubs to six points and with United quietly building momentum, victory would blow the title race wide open.
But Morgan has shot down any suggestions of United overhauling Mikel Arteta’s pacesetters and says Ten Hag should beg for forgiveness for his ‘disrespect’ of Ronaldo.
“When we win the league and when United do not win the league because they got rid of the GOAT, I expect Erik ten Hag to get on bended knee beg me for forgiveness and apologise to Cristiano Ronaldo for the shocking disrespect that he showed him.”
