A terrifying new fan-made Wednesday sculpture is even scarier than the show’s Hyde, the monster that terrorizes the town of Jericho in season 1.
The Hyde from Netflix’s Wednesday is brought to life with a shockingly realistic fan-made sculpture. Led by Jenna Ortega and created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, Wednesday brings the gothic Addams Family back to the screen with a spooky and mysterious coming-of-age tale. With Wednesday entering the boarding school Nevermore Academy, the series moves beyond Wednesday’s immediate family to introduce a host of Outcasts, which include sirens, werewolves, and other supernatural entities. Among those is the Hyde, a creature that commits several atrocities throughout the course of the show.
The Hyde differs from many of the show’s other supernatural figures in several ways, which makes sense since Hydes are revealed in Wednesday to be a mutated breed of Outcasts. The creature becomes unrecognizable when transformed, with bulging eyes, long claws, fangs, and grotesque body proportions.
Now, Wednesday‘s monster has been brought to life in stunning fashion by clay artist JayTiz Creations, with a sculpture that surpasses the show’s fear factor due to its realism and large red eyes. The sculpture even earned praise from the show’s Tyler actor Hunter Doohan, whose character was revealed to be the Hyde on Wednesday.

Will Hyde Return In Season 2?
By the end of Wednesday, the mystery Wednesday worked to solve all season had been unraveled, with Tyler revealed to be the one transforming into the Hyde and terrorizing Jericho. However, the teenager was being controlled by Marilyn Thornhill (Christina Ricci), who unleashed the monster to do her bidding. In addition, Xavier (Percy Hynes White) was shown to have a unique and enigmatic connection with the Hyde due to his powers, which was not explored in depth in Wednesday season 1.
None of those characters were confirmed to be deceased at the end of Wednesday season 1, leaving the door open for them to return. Now that Wednesday season 2 has been officially announced, it’s possible that any of the aforementioned characters could return to the fold to potentially wreak havoc. Tyler was arrested at the end of season 1, but given the Hyde’s immense strength and power, he could escape confinement and come back in season 2, whether Thornhill is controlling him or not.
If Tyler/Hyde does escape from prison and return, it would be interesting to see his actions outside of Thornhill’s manipulations, which could help viewers determine how much fault for the events of season 1 truly lies with him. Tyler came out of Wednesday season 1 as one of the show’s most divisive figures, so season 2 could see him either lean into villainy and become a major threat yet again, or attempt to redeem himself and move on from his recent violent past. The end of Wednesday season 1 teases that Tyler/Hyde is a likely candidate to return in season 2, though his appearance may be brief as the series dives into a new mystery.
