Move over, Leo? A “soberish” Justin Bieber, 21, wants to be the “Leonardo DiCaprio of his generation,” sources tell Page Six, with a mix of girls, clubs, cars and more girls. But some models are having trouble seeing him in that light.
Bieber’s been celebrating his recent Grammy nomination in Miami — where a source said the pop star’s been on a mission to party while proving he can stay out of serious trouble after being arrested there last year on DUI and other charges while drag-racing a Lamborghini.
“He was more about the models this time,” said a Miami nightlife insider of Bieber, who’s been partying nightly. “He wants to be the [DiCaprio] and Justin Timberlake of his generation. He’s trying to elevate his game to the Leo and Justin level, but he’s not there yet. Most of the models don’t see him as [that] yet because he’s too frail. He’s still an up-and-comer, but he wants that for sure.”
Meanwhile, “he’s acting like a 21-year-old with millions, but you can see the change” in his partying while avoiding infamy. “He’s more soberish.” Bieber arrived in South Beach Tuesday via a private jet and posted a photo of himself in front of a Lambo, the same type of car that got him arrested. “I’m gonna drive safe don’t worry. Not again!! Trust me,” he posted.
Bieber then hit up the “Favela Beach”party at Wall nightclub with Jonathan Cheban and 25 girls. He flirted heavily with a blonde, then “started singing and took [her] into the DJ booth, where they got really close.” Bieber and his party left the club after 3 a.m. in 10 cars, and he then threw an after-party at the former Versace mansion — which sources said can rent for $68,000 a night — that lasted till 8 a.m.
Bieber was seen later that day pulling up at Prime 112 in a different Lamborghini. A spy told us he looked tipsy when he exited the restaurant, and jumped into a chauffeured Escalade.
Later at LIV nightclub, “every promoter was told to bring their best girls,” said a source. Bieber later headed back to his mansion with the models for another after-party.
