Zendaya and her rumored boyfriend Tom Holland were seen on a date night at a Thai restaurant near Universal Studios on Independence Day.

The 24-year-old actress was seen excitedly talking with her hands as she told a story as the Spider-Man co-stars enjoyed a late night meal together.

Holland, 25, hung onto her every word as they sat across from each other, just days after they were seen passionately making out on Thursday.

The two first sparked dating rumors back in 2017 after wrapping Spider-Man: Homecoming, but the Euphoria actress shut the chatter down on numerous occasions.

The sighting comes after nearly four years of denying any romance between them, and on June 1, Zendaya continued to add fuel to the fire with a birthday tribute to Holland.

‘Pretty glad you were born…happy birthday @tomholland2013,’ she wrote on a photo of him.

In 2017 a source told People that they were dating but had been ‘super careful to keep it private.’

‘They started seeing each other while they were filming Spider-Man. They’ve been super careful to keep it private and out of the public eye but they’ve gone on vacations with each other and try and spend as much time as possible with one another,’ the insider said.

The Dune actress then took the matter to Twitter in July 2017, where she tried to shrug off the insider report. ‘My favorite is when it says we go on vacations together HA! I haven’t been on a vacation in years! hbu @tomholland1996???,’ she wrote with laughing cry emojis.

And a month later she told Variety they were just really good pals. ‘He’s literally one of my best friends. This past how many months we’ve had to do press tours together. There’s very few people that will understand what that’s like at 20 years old.’

But it seemed as if the pair took a break from dating, as in 2019 Tom was linked to Olivia Bolton before it was reported that they had split in April 2020 and just wanted to ‘be friends.’

Zendaya on the other hand was linked to Euphoria costar Jacob Elordi around that same time, but last fall he began dating now girlfriend Kaia Gerber.

In the British actor’s recent GQ cover story Hollan continued to sing Zendaya’s praises while revealing she had helped him to be more approachable when it came to fan encounters.

‘Talking to Zendaya’s helped me a lot, actually,’ Holland said in April. ‘I used to come across sometimes as a bit of a dick to fans, mainly as I was always so surprised that they’d want a picture with me or signature or whatever.

‘Zendaya spotted this and quickly told me that this sort of reaction was going to be more aggro than just smiling and taking the picture. She totally changed the way I am able to be more comfortable in public,’ he revealed.

Tom also said that dating in the public eye was one of the things he ‘worried about most,’ as an actor.

‘It’s very nerve-racking. It means that if you are dating someone, you have to be really conscious of their feelings, because if something does happen between the two of you, it’s not just happening between the two of you, it’s happening in front of the entire world. It’s one of the things I worry about most, of all the things in my career.’

Tom and Zendaya will be reunited — at least on screen — in the upcoming superhero film Spider-Man: No Way Home, which is set for a December 2021 release.
