But the Portuguese superstar reportedly wants to leave The Kingdom as girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez is unhappy and is eager to move back to Madrid.
And Spanish outlet El Nacional claim Los Blancos are willing to offer the 38-year-old an ambassadorial role at the club.
An excerpt of their report read: “Florentino Perez has guaranteed that [Ronaldo] will not lack work at the Santiago Bernabeu.
“But, obviously, he wouldn’t do it to be a player, because he considers that it is a cycle that should be considered closed.”
Ronaldo has also been linked with a shock return to the Premier League with high-flying Newcastle United – who are currently owned by Saudis.
Ronaldo spent nine trophy-laden years at the Bernabeu and is Real’s all-time leading goalscorer with 451 goals in 438 appearances.
The Portugal skipper lifted the Champions League trophy three times with Los Blancos and won La Liga and the Copa del Rey twice.
Ronaldo has continued his goalscoring exploits since inking a whopping £175million-a-year deal with Al-Nassr.
The forward has scored 12 goals and provided two assists in 12 appearances for Dinko Jelicic’s side.
Jelicic took the job after Al-Nassr chiefs wielded the axe on Rudi Garcia last month.
Ronaldo reacted to the axing of Garcia on his Instagram story – where he sent a heartfelt goodbye message to his now-former manager.
Alongside a picture of himself embracing Garcia, he wrote: “Pleasure to have worked with you.
“Wishing you all the best for the future.”
Ronaldo and his Al-Nassr team-mates will be back in action on Saturday night, welcoming Al-Khaleej to Al-Awwal Park.
