Erling Haaland reveals he was punched by his Man City teammate to the point of… Bruised back on the day he set the record

Erling Haaland went down in Premier League history on the day Man City recaptured the top of the table with a 3-0 victory over West Ham, match round 28.

With a goal to make it 2-0 for Man City, after Nathan Ake broke the balance for the home team in the 50th minute, Erling Haaland set a new Premier League record, becoming the most goalscorer in a single game. season-35 goals.

It is also the 51st goal of the Norwegian striker for Man City in all competitions.

After the game, coach Pep Guardiola, the coaching staff and Man City stars made a fence of honor to celebrate Haaland’s super record, right in the first season to play football at Etihad Stadium.

Haaland was really touched by this but also revealed that he was bruised all over his body because his teammates competed… hit him on the back to celebrate:

“I never saw that at the end of a battle. It was thrilling. A really great feeling. But I was also very… hurt because everyone beat me in the back. However, I am extremely happy!”.

The 22-year-old goalscorer also revealed more about this milestone goal: “Me and Jack Grealish talked before the game. He said he wanted to help me to score the record goal. Of course it is. The perfect ball from Jack.”

When asked about breaking more records in the Premier League, Haaland gave a brilliant answer: “I will wake up tomorrow and think about trying to win with my teammates against Leeds.

I can’t keep thinking about these records, or I’ll go crazy. I’ll go home, play some video games, eat something, and then go to sleep…”
