At first, the pup was terrified of people, but he got used to it eventually. He was in excellent health, but despite the days spent alone, he was incredibly sad.
But there are also stories where insensitive people left babies helpless.
A rescue team responded to a call from neighbors who found an abandoned puppy in an empty house in their neighborhood, as described in a YouTube post from Animal House New shelter.
The dog was chained to one of the doors of the house and left to fend for itself without food or water, a most horrific act.
The dog seemed to have no other company. The Animal House New team arrived on the scene with a camera and recorded the pup’s appearance: he was exhausted, depressed and above all hungry.
The dog was worried and reluctant to open up to the rescuers, so they tried to calm him down.
Although he was given food and drink first, he refused to consume them. Special equipment was needed to free him from the heavy chains around his neck.
He was then loaded into a van and taken to a vet for examination. The pup looked healthy despite the challenges he was facing. He was only affected by a terrible feeling of abandonment.
His condition is said to have improved in recent days thanks to the shelter volunteers who cared for and loved him. Now that it can move and play properly, the top can do things it couldn’t before.
