Selena Gomez has gone from being a cute Disney star to a gorgeous young women and now we know where she gets her looks from.

The Heart Wants What It Wants singer is the spitting image of her mum Mandy Teefey and posted a throwback pic of her when she was younger. We can hardly tell the difference!

The Spring Breakers star shared the sexy snap of her mum, a former actress, along with one of herself in a similar pose, and wrote beside it: “Werk momma #igetitfrommymomma.”

Selena, 22, looked stunning the shot with her right hand resting against her head and dressed in a tropical print low-cut outfit, while her mother was photographed on a shoot what appears to be red lingerie.

Mandy, who had Selena at age 16, gazes seductively at the camera and has very similar facial features to her daughter, who is one of Hollywood’s young pin-ups.

The star previously spoke about how her mum inspired her to become an actress and singer after performing on stage in Dallas, Texas when she was younger.

Selena told E! News: “My mom gave up everything for me, had three jobs, supported me, sacrificed her life for me.

“I remember my mom would run out of gas all of the time and we’d sit there and have to go through the car and get quarters and help her get gas because she never liked to ask my grandparents for money.”

Mandy added: “Yeah, we might have run out of gas – we did have to walk to the dollar store to get dollar spaghetti and make it … so we always had food but if I knew she wanted to go to a concert I would save up for it. You do the best you can with what you’re given.”
