The bond between a mother and child can be difficult to put into words.
But medics managed to capture the instant connection on camera when a baby clung to her mother’s face in an emotional embrace following her birth.
Ágata Ribeiro Coêlho was born via C-section on April 5 in Santa Monica hospital in Brazil, and was soon placed onto her mother, Brenda Coêlho de Souza’s, face.

Brenda, 24, said: “It was an incredible moment when my daughter hugged me for the first time.”
The administrative assistant added: “The medical team were great and were all really surprised that she acted this way, they couldn’t believe how affectionate she was with me.

It is not the first time a baby has been filmed clinging to its mum immediately after its birth.
Three years ago, adorable footage of a baby refusing to let go of its exhausted mother moments after being born touched the hearts of millions worldwide.
The cute footage showed the tiny newborn grabbing hold of its mum’s face, nuzzling against her cheek and screaming whenever a nurse tries to remove it.
