Spider-Man has been one of the biggest superheroes in the world for over twenty years, and his popularity grew as Tom Holland took on the role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Tom’s Spider-Man trilogy, directed by Jon Watts, is amazing, and it only gets better the more fans rewatch it.

CBR VIDEO OF THE DAYClose10Tony Stark Comes Back To Help Peter
Tony Stark introduces Peter Parker into the MCU in Captain America: Civil War when he recruits Peter to help fight in the war against Captain America. The two then develop an unbreakable father-son relationship, and Tony makes a brief appearance in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
After Tony’s death in Avengers: Endgame, it can be emotional for fans to see Tony and Peter’s relationship again as it grows through the years, and how much Peter relies on Tony. It’s always rewarding for fans of any franchise to see their favorite characters again, and Marvel fans are no different.
9Mysterio’s Mind Games Are Easier To Understand
In Spider-Man: Far From Home, Peter and his classmates travel to Europe, where he encounters the evil mastermind Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal). Mysterio uses drones and other technology to alter reality and make Peter see and feel things that aren’t actually happening.

On the first watch of Far From Home, it can be confusing for fans to truly understand what’s going on. When fans rewatch the movie, they then understand what Mysterio’s game is and they’re able to better differentiate between reality and Mysterio’s alternate reality.
8Peter’s Place In The MCU Is More Evident
By the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter’s place in the MCU and how he fits in with the other Avengers is all tied together. Beginning with Civil War, through Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, all the way until No Way Home, Peter’s spot in the Avengers, as far as viewers know, is complete.
Peter starts off as a curious kid fighting with, and against, some of the strongest superheroes in the world. He then fights Thanos, gets blipped, and comes back to witness his idol and father-figure’s death. Peter plays a big part in his own individual world, but also in the world of every other Marvel hero, and the whole timeline makes more sense on a rewatch.
7Peter And MJ’s Relationship Grows Naturally
Peter and MJ (Zendaya) begin dating at the end of Far From Home, after starting as friends. They support each other endlessly, they love each other unconditionally, and MJ does whatever she can to help Peter in his personal life and as Spider-Man.
It’s beautiful to rewatch Tom’s Spider-Man trilogy and observe Peter and MJ grow from awkward, nervous kids to young adults in love. Their relationship, although surrounded by odd circumstances, develops organically and is very wholesome and sweet. Fans hope that they’ll make their way back to each other in the next Spider-Man movie.
6Small Details Come Back In The Final Movie
There are many small details from the first two movies that are brought back in No Way Home in order to evoke nostalgia and emotion from Peter’s lost past. One of the most significant details is the Palpatine Lego figure Ned (Jacob Batalon) gives Peter in Homecoming, which he still treasures by the end of No Way Home.
Another detail is MJ’s black dahlia necklace that Peter buys in Venice to confess his feelings to her. He protects the necklace with everything he has, but it still ends up broken by the end of the movie, which only makes MJ love it more. She wears it throughout the entirety of No Way Home and is still wearing it at the end, even after she’s forgotten Peter.
5Peter Has Been Through Too Much In Such A Short Amount Of Time
Peter goes through infinitely more than any normal teenage kid in just a few years. He starts out having to fight his homecoming date’s father, and then the biggest threat the MCU has seen, Thanos, after which he gets blipped. Peter comes back to learn that five years have passed, and he has to help the Avengers keep Infinity Stones from Thanos.

Peter watches his idol, Tony Stark, die, and then is tricked into giving Tony’s gift away to the evil Mysterio. He has his whole world flipped upside down, his aunt May dies in his arms, and in the end, he loses everything. By the end of his trilogy, Peter Parker doesn’t exist. It’s hard to believe how much this young kid has been through in a span of just a few years.
4The CGI And Cinematography Are Beautifully Done
As technology has advanced over the years, movie-making has become more extravagant, and Tom’s trilogy is no different. The CGI and cinematography of the Spider-Man movies are some of the best in the business, so much so that it’s hard to believe most of it isn’t real.
Scenes on bridges, through the streets of New York, and even on the Captain America-enhanced Statue of Liberty look so real, it can be surprising that No Way Home was filmed in Atlanta, GA, and Los Angeles, CA, in addition to New York, NY.
3Peter’s Suits Progress And Change Through The Years
Peter starts out wearing a handmade suit, which consists of a blue and red hoodie with a painted spider symbol, blue sweatpants, red boots, and a red ski mask. When Tony recruits him for Civil War, he provides him with a high-tech Stark spider suit.
Peter gets many new suits with increasingly impressive technology throughout the movies, and has multiple suits in No Way Home alone. The only suit he has that doesn’t have Stark technology is the classic comic Spider-Man suit that he makes himself at the end of the trilogy after everyone forgets who he is. It’s fun for fans to watch Peter’s suits change and grow with him through the years.
2Peter Grows And Changes, But Always Remains Hopeful
As fans know, Peter goes through more than most Marvel characters in such a short time. Viewers watch him grow physically, mentally, and emotionally through the trilogy. In Homecoming, he starts as a young kid eager to live his dreams as a superhero, putting himself into situations he may not be ready for.

1Three Different Franchises Come Together As One
No Way Home is a cinematic masterpiece, surprisingly bringing the three different Spider-Men together in one universe to fight the villains of the Raimi and Webb universes. This is a production that fans could’ve only dreamed of a few years ago, as it’s truly a fan service movie.
Hardly any movie can top the magic that No Way Home provides, bringing back iconic villains and heroes that haven’t reprised their roles for almost two decades, like the Green Goblin and Doc Ock. This movie produces fan service, heart, and laughter in a way that no other Marvel movie has thus far.
