Citroen has released a special version of the DS3 Louvre cross hatch with an interactive art gallery.
Citroen has unveiled a new, special version of the DS3 Louvre 2022 premium crossover hatchback.
The car is highlighted by design elements inspired by works of art.
The body of the French model is decorated with small images of a pyramid, symbolizing the link with the Louvre.
The exterior mirror housings and 18-inch wheels are designed in a similar style.
The novelty body is painted in gray monochrome paint, while the roof is black, which visually makes the car lower.
The DS3 Louvre’s interior features dark trim on the door panels and dashboard as well as a branded strap and steering wheel trimmed in Nappa leather.
Louvre symbols are also present on the instrument cluster and transmission tunnel.
Additionally, the French cross-hatch has received a 10.3-inch touchscreen monitor, which you can display one of 182 downloaded photos depicting famous works of art exhibited at the museum.

By default, the new DS3 Louvre is equipped with a turbocharged gasoline engine, which develops up to 128 hp of power.
Ч more expensive, a version with a 153-horsepower unit is offered. Each of these motors comes with an automatic transmission.
In addition, the DS3 Louvre is available in all-electric form with an engine, the output of which reaches 134 hp.
This unit is combined with a battery that provides a range of 332 kilometers.
For the new DS3 Louvre asked about 3.45 million rubles in recalculation at the current exchange rate.
The electric version is estimated at 4.1 million rubles. The company Citroen has already opened admission of pre-orders for the new DS3 Louvre.
Terms of shipment of cross-hatch samples have not been announced yet.

The new model, dubbed Louvre, received numerous stylistic changes and a unique art display mode for its 10.3-inch infotainment system, which transforms into an interactive gallery with digitized works from the Louvre Museum in Paris.
On the outside, the DS 3 Crossback Louvre has been outfitted with special badges on the hood, tailgate, and the DS logo in Onyx Black on the front.
Small pyramid symbols along the center of the grille were added in honor of the famous art museum, and the car’s 18-inch alloy wheels and mirror housings also received the same motif.
The DS 3 Crossback Louvre is offered in several shades of monochrome paint with a black roof that noticeably lowers the car’s roof line.
Inside, the DS’s signature black nappa leather trim and black leather trim on the dashboard and door panels.
The steering wheel is also finished in leather, with mother-of-pearl stitching and raised inserts.
A pyramid symbol is also stamped on the instrument panel, and the gear selector has a laser engraving of an art museum.
The DS 3 Crossback Louvre features the same 10.3-inch infotainment touchscreen as the standard model, albeit with a sleek artistic touch.
DS has partnered with the Louvre to add a gallery feature where the user can select one of 182 works of art from the museum to display on the screen.
An accompanying podcast reveals the details of each work to the driver on the move. The Mona Lisa, the Winged Victory of Samothrace, and the Egyptian statue of the Sitting Scribe are among the works to be displayed on screen.
The DS 3 Crossback Louvre crossover is available with two gasoline engines and one pure electric powertrain.
The base gasoline model has a 128-hp DS PureTech 130 engine, which is inferior to the 153-hp variant. — Both are paired with an automatic transmission.
The all-electric variant is the DS 3 Crossback E-Tense, which produces 134 hp and travels 330 km without recharging.
Prices for the special edition DS 3 Crossback Louvre start at £34,420 for the 128bhp petrol variant and go up to £35,920 for the 153bhp version of the car, which equates to 3.57 million and 3.73 million rubles.
The all-electric E-Tense version is available from £40,800 or about 4.23 million rubles. Orders are open in the UK.
