That is a female. Tyson and Ashley Gardner, the well-known Utah couple who had long struggled with infertility, were sʜᴏᴄᴋed this summer when they learned they were expecting Qᴜᴀᴅʀᴜᴘʟᴇᴛꜱ.
Indie, Esme, Scarlett, and Evangeline are the ɪᴅᴇɴᴛɪᴄᴀʟ twin daughters that Ashley gave birth to on Sunday. The family posted on their Facebook page that all four infants are doing wonderfully, with the ʙᴀʙʏ, Indie, weighing a little under 2 pounds and her three sisters, over 2 pounds.
When Ashley’s pregnancy, who was approximately 30 weeks along, began to experience contractions, the physicians determined it was time for her to give birth.
“Mommy and the ʙᴀʙʏ are doing amazing! We are thrilled with how things are going right now,” Tyson stated. “After part C, I feel great! The four infants all have dark hair.
Gardeners in Pleasant Grove, Utah, switched to IVF this summer after eight years of trying to conceive. When they went for an ultrasound in July and learned she was carrying a ʙᴀʙʏ on all fours, it was “the sᴜʀᴘʀɪsᴇ of our life.” The ultrasound scan was held up in a picture of the couple that instantly went ᴠɪʀᴀʟWhen doctors identified twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) in one group of infants in October, there were some anxious moments, but surgery was able to solve the issue.
The remainder of Ashley’s pregnancy was spent in bed rest, and she spent Christmas and Thanksgiving in the hospital. She tweeted on Christmas Eve that she was in excruciating pain and “very uncomfortable,” but she wouldn’t trade the experience for anything.
Nobody promised that it would be simple, but it would be worthwhile! I would do anything for these Bᴀʙɪᴇꜱ, she stated, “even though we have waited so long to receive them.
