John Wick, a franchise that’s known for its intense action scenes is now returning with its fourth instalment, “John Wick: Chapter 4.”
Keanu Reeves, who plays the title role has recently promised that a particular action scene in the movie would exceed everyone’s expectations.

In his interview with Total Film, Reeves talked about a car chase scene, describing it as ‘next level’ and assured that it would enthrall the audience. The actor said, “John Wick: Chapter 4 was the hardest physical role I’ve ever had in my career so far. They really trained me up to be able to have what we call the toolbox…We took the car-driving to the next level, which I really enjoy, there’s 180s, forward-into-reverse 180s, reverse-into-forward 270s, drifting… So it was really fun to get a chance to learn those skills, and to play.”
John Wick: Chapter 4 is all set to entertain the audience starting from March. The film’s main cast of Reeves, Lance Reddick and Ian McShane returns alongside new additions like Rina Sawayama, Shamier Anderson, Bill Skarsgard, Clancy Brown, Hiroyuki Sanada and Donnie Yen.
The film is directed by Chad Stahelski and co-written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch. The action thriller’s producers list include Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee and Stahelski with executive producers being Reeves and Louise Rosner.
Does ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ has anything to do with anime?
In the interview with Total Film, Reeves revealed that Japanese cinema has influenced the film strongly.
The actor said, “Japanese anime and Japanese filmmaking have definitely been something I’ve loved and have been influenced by. And bushido is definitely a theme in our film – you know, the code of the samurai – so, from the outside, it feels like a great fit, the idea of honor and sacrifice. There’s definitely a strong Japanese influence.”
