Confiding to Thanh Nien, Nhu said when she was 18 years old, she had a terrible accident leading to paralysis, and had to spend her life in a wheelchair for the past 5 years. “The day of the accident, I no longer know anything, only that after waking up, my body felt pain to the end, my legs could not move and move as usual. After a while, even though I tried to do physical therapy , the doctor said my recovery was very low,” Nhu recalled.
Everything happened so suddenly that it was difficult for the 18-year-old girl at that time to accept reality. At one point, As had negative emotions, wanted to commit suicide. But when she regained her senses, she thought she had to make an effort to overcome adversity . Like diving into training, gradually adapting to life without using legs. She learned to move around in a wheelchair , first on a flat surface, then climbing low stairs, practicing personal hygiene as well as taking care of all activities on her own… “I was not used to it at first, I struggled a lot. . Thanks to physical therapy as well as exercise, a few months later I also started to be fine. To be honest, not being able to walk, stand, fly is really not easy, but I can’t do anything but accept and adapt”, Nhu added.
Contrary to the first half of the year, she closed herself off and didn’t talk to anyone. The young girl began to get acquainted and interact with many other people with disabilities and suddenly realized that she was luckier than many people.

Going through the darkness of the past, now the young girl begins to open her heart and share more things on social networks . Most of Nhu’s shares are happy and joyful moments in the wheelchair. That’s how the girl hopes to be able to inspire and motivate people to live, especially those in the same situation.
As also added that the day before going out on the street with a wheelchair, she felt shy and afraid of people’s eyes, thinking it was ridicule, or pity. But now, Nhu is more confident. “I think I am my motivation. If I don’t try, don’t adapt, I won’t be able to have a better life. I believe that all of us will face events in life, and our attitude is what determines everything,” Nhu said.

During the past time, the young girl has always actively participated in programs and activities to positively inspire people with disabilities. It is also a way for Nhu to integrate and interact with people. Nhu has moved to Hanoi to live and work for many years. Although she has no relatives by her side, she confidently takes care of her daily life and activities.
Work Like working as an editor in a company. Vu Duc Khanh (20 years old), Nhu’s colleague, said that he has been with the girl for more than 1 year. At first, when she saw Nhu coming to the company in a wheelchair, Khanh really admired her colleague’s energy and optimism. “I have a feeling that car is not an obstacle for her, nor does it create distance between her and everyone in the company. Thanks to Ms. Nhu, our office is always full of laughter, everyone feels positive”, Khanh said.
