Iervolino is a multi-award-winning producer. He won the Mimmo Rotella Special Award for production of The Humbling back at the 2015 Venice Film Festival. The following year, he received the Saving Award at the Italian contemporary Film Festival.
That same year, he became an ambassador of Italian Cinema and the president of Ischia Global Film and Music Fest. The businessman was also awarded Knighthood of the Italian Republic in 2018. It was given to him by the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, and the Italian Consulate of Canada for “his achievements in business and media culture,” per Seventeen.
In 2020, he made it to Variety‘s 500 entertainment leaders and icons. According to his profile, he’s “pushing his AMBI-financed live-action film Waiting for the Barbarians, an imperialist POW film starring Johnny Depp, for the 2020-21 awards race.”
He’s also moved on to animation, working alongside Depp as well. “The latest efforts at his company’s studios in Rome and Serbia include the series Puffins, also featuring Depp as the lead voice, and Arctic Friends, a spinoff of his 2019 animated Arctic Dogs,” said the writeup.
But as early as 13 years old, Iervino had already shown promise as an entrepreneur. At that age, he made money by setting up local websites in his hometown, Cassino, Italy. In 2005, at the age of 17, he earned his first co-executive producer credit on 2005’s The Merchant of Venice starring Al Pacino.
Why Are Fans Linking Selena Gomez To Andrea Iervolino?
On August 4, 2022, The Daily Mail posted photos of Gomez and Iervolino on a yacht together in Positano. The outlet reported that the actress “was seen chatting and larking around with Italian producer Andrea as he held her hands and helped her into the ocean for a swim as she sat on the side of the boat.”
The two have previously worked together in the 2016 film, Dubious Battle. In 2019, they were seen hanging out at Gomez’s birthday trip in Italy. Back then, people didn’t think that they were dating.
On August 5, the pair sparked more dating rumors when the Wizards of Waverly Place alum appeared on the TaTaTu series, Giving Back Generation. TaTaTu is a blockchain-based social media under Iervolino’s TaTaTu Enterprises which he founded in 2018.
In the viral clip, Gomez opened up about her future plans, saying that she is hoping “to be married and to be a mom” someday because “eventually, I’m going to be tired of all of this [career], so I’m probably just going to devote most of my life to philanthropy before I peace out.”
