L’Equipe reported that negotiations had commenced between United and PSG regarding a possible deal.
There had been suggestions that Neymar’s Brazil team-mate Casemiro is looking to convince the winger to make the switch to Old Trafford.
However, as things stand Erik ten Hag’s side haven’t initiated contact regarding a potential move for Neymar.
Neymar’s move to PSG from Barcelona in 2017 remains the most expensive transfer in football history at £198million.

Although he has two years remaining on his contract at PSG, there is much uncertainty over Neymar’s future at the French club and he could end up leaving this summer.
During his time at PSG Neymar has made 173 appearances and has scored 118 goals as well as providing 77 assists.
Neymar has won the Ligue 1 title on four occasions (and looks set to do so for a fifth time), while he has also won the Coupe de France three times and the Coupe de la Ligue twice.
There have been suggestions of discontent between Neymar and team-mate Kylian Mbappe at times this season.
It could be a significant summer of change for PSG, with Lionel Messi also potentially leaving the club.
