Lionel Messi continues to enjoy a well-earned break from football as he relaxed on a beach with his wife and kids.
The Barcelona ace went for a dip in the sea with his childhood sweetheart Antonela before the pair posed alongside some aquatic wildlife.
Their day out was capped off with a picturesque sunset as they lapped up their tropical surroundings.

After a day of lounging around in the sand and sea, the family of five then sat and listened to a local band to complete another relaxing day.
Antonela has given fans brief snippets into her family’s vacation as Messi unwinds before heading back for pre-season training.
It is unconfirmed when Messi will return to Catalonia to begin next season’s preparations but Barcelona have confirmed that the Argentine will be back to captain the side against Arsenal on August 4.
