MANCHESTER UNITED star David de Gea has agreed on a contract extension with the club.
De Gea’s current deal runs out in June and his future has been uncertain following a series of howlers this season.

According to The Telegraph, however, the goalkeeper and United have reached an agreement to extend his 12-year stay at Old Trafford.
The goalkeeper’s £375,000-per-week salary will be heavily reduced – by as much as £175k-a-week – but his new deal involves incentives for matches played as well as performance add-ons.
The Spain international is now waiting on United to sign off the agreement before making an official announcement.
The 32-year-old received some stinging criticism after his howler on Sunday handed West Ham a 1-0 victory at London Stadium.
This comes after an erroneous performance at Sevilla in the Europa League quarter-finals last month which led to the Red Devils getting eliminated from the competition.
However, De Gea has amassed the most clean sheets in the Premier League this season.
The keeper counts 15 clean sheets, which is two more than Liverpool’s Alisson, Newcastle’s Nick Pope and Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale who are joint second.
United manager Erik ten Hag backed the ex-Atletico Madrid star after the loss to the Hammers and insisted he wants him to stay next season.
Ten Hag said: “We have the most clean sheets in the Premier League and we wouldn’t be in this position without him.
“Mistakes happen but he has my full belief and I have no concerns about him. We want him to stay and extend his contract.”
However, even if De Gea stays there is still no promise he will remain Ten Hag’s starting keeper next season.
