MALIBU, CALIFORNIA: Gal Gadot looked chic as she stepped out for breakfast with her husband. The ‘Wonder Woman’ actress, 37, arrived at the popular Japanese beachside restaurant, Nobu Malibu, with her husband Yaron Varsano, an Israeli businessman. The actress sported a black leather motorcycle jacket and a pair of worn blue denims but had no makeup on during the casual outing. She will not be appearing in ‘Wonder Woman 3′ as Warner Bros’ cancelled the film.
Gal stayed warm during the outing by donning a grey t-shirt underneath her jacket, layering it with a blue zip-up jumper. The actress completed her outfit with a pair of tall, black boots with a front zipper. The ‘Death on the Nile’ actress looked fresh in her no-makeup look for the day as she kept her chocolate brown hair pulled back in a messy bun. Her husband was wearing a grey T-shirt under a red plaid button-up in the background. He wore blue jeans with the ensemble and black sunglasses. The couple was married in 2008 and celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary last year.

Gal and the real estate developer have three children together — Danielle, 1, Maya, 5, and Alma, 11. The breakfast outing follows last month’s shocking announcement that Warner Bros would not be proceeding with ‘Wonder Woman 3,’ shocking DC fans. According to Wire, it was shelved after filmmaker Patty Jenkins, who was behind the first two female-led superhero films, reportedly rejected studio notes on her treatment for the follow-up, which caused her to leave the project. Apparently, studio executives did not appreciate Jenkins’ treatment aka her vision of the film, submitted ahead of the actual filming, according to insiders.
According to reports, Michael De Luca and Pamela Abdy, co-chairmen and CEOs of the Warner Bros. Film Group, were the ones who objected to Jenkins’ treatment and decided not to “move forward with the film in its current iteration.” It was also alleged that James Gunn and Peter Safran, the studio’s new CEOs, concurred that Jenkins’ version of the movie did not work for the DCEU. Jenkins and De Luca were informed of this, and Abdy questioned if the filmmaker would be open to changing the course of the sequel. Jenkins allegedly rejected the offer from the two and blamed them for failing to grasp her goals or the course of ‘Wonder Woman’ as a whole.

” [Jenkins] let them know that they were wrong, that they didn’t understand her, didn’t understand the character, didn’t understand character arcs, and didn’t understand what Jenkins was trying to do,” an insider claimed.

Jenkins was supposedly given another opportunity by the studio to “suggest a fresh approach for Wonder Woman,” but again, she declined. Jenkins made the decision to leave and go on to her next film project because they had no intention of using her sequel proposal. Jenkins allegedly had no interest in hearing CEOs Gunn and Safran’s opinions, as they were unrelated to the matter at hand.
