After a series of rumors, Louis Vuitton officially introduced its first campaign with the participation of Zendaya, the Golden Globe award-winning actress. From this point on, Zendaya became the global brand ambassador of Louis Vuitton and the face of the iconic Capucines bag.
Zendaya, front row guest of the Louis Vuitton Fall-Winter 2023 show was photographed by duo of photographers, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, against the backdrop at E-1027 – the Roquebrune-Cap-Martin house was designed Designed by Eileen Gray – avant-garde Modernist architect and designer.
In the poetic atmosphere of the Côte d’Azur, Zendaya appears with strong yet feminine images, alongside the iconic miniature Capucines BB bag. From terrace to balcony to terrace, the actress gave the campaign and the Capucines a fresh, sexy charm.
Zendaya wears a sleek black off-the-shoulder dress with a gold zipper running down the side and on the strap. The actress completed the outfit with a blue handbag emblazoned with the brand’s signature LV lettering. In another look, Zendaya sported a white dress with a similar design, not forgetting the accompanying white Capucines bag.
Launched in 2013, the Capucines bag is named after Rue Neuve-des-Capucines, the street in Paris where Louis Vuitton opened its first store in 1854. Today, this bag is one of the standard designs. The French fashion house’s most iconic creation, a luxury creation handcrafted in full-grain Taurillon leather with a variety of wearing styles (handheld, shoulder, crossbody), as well as the cap that can be styled by Close to highlight the Monogram flower, or slide inside to reveal the lettering LV wrapped in leather.
The Capucines campaign with the participation of Zendaya will explode in print and on Louis Vuitton’s social networks starting April 20, 2023.
