Is It Fair Comparing Brie Larson With Chris Pratt?
After the release of A Wrinkle in Time in 2018, critics were not very impressed by Larson’s performance. In response, Brie Larson commented on the lack of diversity in film criticism, stating that different voices need to be heard. She said,
“I don’t need a 40-year-old white dude to tell me what didn’t work about A Wrinkle in Time… It wasn’t made for him! I want to know what it meant to women of color, biracial women, to teen women of color.”
Some people twisted her words and accused her of wanting to see white male reviewers fired. It led to a backlash against her, which surged when she appeared to come off as rude during interviews promoting her MCU movies.

On the other hand, Chris Pratt suffered a major blow after Ellen Page called him out for belonging to a church that is “infamously anti-LGBTQ.” Pratt is a member of Zoe Church, which was founded by Chad Veach, an executive producer of a film about “sexual brokenness.” Pratt defended the church on his social media, writing,
“Nothing could be further from the truth. I go to church that opens their doors to absolutely everyone.”
