Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are in a nasty court battle over their assets after their divorce started, and one of the most sacred agreements that she had with Brad was regarding their French winery estate called Chateau Miraval which is valued at $164 million.
The once “happily married” couple agreed that their equal partnership of the winery would be carefully addressed if one decided to sell their part, as Brad wanted to leave the winery to their children as part of their inheritance.

However, Angelina decided to put her part in the market without consulting her ex-husband and sold it to a Russian oligarch.
Angelina Jolie sold the property to Tenute del Mondo, a company owned by the Stoli Group, which is “indirectly controlled” by the Russian oligarch Yuri Shefler.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie agreed to agree on the buyer, but she changed her mind after something turned against her in the custody battle for her children.

Documents that were obtained by radar online claim that Brad Pitt wanted to have an emergency hearing but a Los Angeles Superior Court judge strongly denied the actor’s motion for the hearing.
Angelina Jolie claims she could not continue with ownership due to having “personal objections”, meanwhile, Pitt claims Shefler tried to make a hostile takeover and his legal representation immediately filed a lawsuit so they would back down from the sale, however, Jolie countersued Pitt for $250 million.
