BTS‘s Suga officially released the tracklist for his upcoming album D-DAY and revealed impressive featured artists, including the late world-renowned Japanese composer, actor, and producer Ryuichi Sakamoto.

Suga announced on April 1 that he would embark on a solo tour, SUGA | Agust D D-DAY, which begins in New York on April 26.
Shortly after, it was revealed he would be releasing a new album ahead of his tour, D-DAY.
Suga recently pre-released “People Pt.2” from his D-DAY album, which features superstar soloist IU, marking their second collaboration after their 2020 hit song “Eight.”

Now, the album’s full tracklist is out, revealing three additional featured artists.
On D-DAY, Suga will collaborate with fellow group member J-Hope on the track “Huh?!,” which is co-written by J-Hope, and co-written and produced by Suga under his solo moniker Agust D, and BIGHIT MUSIC‘s in-house producer, EL CAPITXN.

His upcoming track “Snooze” features the talents of The Rose‘s Woosung, who is known to be good friends with BTS’s RM and Suga.

“Snooze” also has an especially meaningful feature from his childhood musical hero, Ryuichi Sakamoto.

Ryuichi Sakamoto sadly passed away on March 28, 2023. Before Ryuichi Sakamoto’s passing, Suga met his idol when he traveled to Japan in September 2022.
Sakamoto spoke of their meeting in the literary magazine Shincho and had nothing but praise for the BTS member.
Although he is a top idol, when we talked, I felt he was a humble and cool young man who was serious about his music. It was to the point that I wondered if he had any other hobbies other than thinking about music.

ARMYs were touched to see that Suga was able to collaborate with the renowned musician he so admired before Sakamoto’s untimely passing.
A teaser for Suga’s upcoming Disney+ and Weverse documentary revealed that Suga and Ryuichi Sakamoto’s meeting would appear in the film.
