Monique Salum, wife of Manchester United star Fred, recklessly dived with sharks in the Maldives

A chemical engineer, who spends a week on vacation with her husband and son in a luxury chalet on a private island, has been diving alone among the animals

During a family holiday in a luxury bungalow in the Maldives, Monique Salum, wife of midfielder Fred, from Manchester United, dived among sharks in the crystal clear waters of paradise, on Thursday This six weeks.

The chemical engineer, who has been married to the Brazil international since 2018, swam alone during a walk with her husband and their 4-year-old son Benjamin. Out of fear, the two refused to join her in the water with the sharks.

“Live a life you’ll remember forever,” she wrote in English in the caption of the diving video, posted on her Instagram profile.

Among the publication’s comments were followers of Monique, who were amazed by the engineer’s adventures.

Earlier, Monique shared on her Stories the moment the three were on their way to go on a swimming tour and wrote: “About to fulfill my dream with kittens! Crazy dream? Yes! I’m worried quiet? Too!” .

He later wrote of Fred: “I am trying to convince my husband who already knows he will never die in his life. Today is the day to swim with the sharks.

Before diving, Monique published another recording, was on a boat among a lot of sharks and surprisingly announced: We have arrived! Look, there are so many sharks…”, before her son, who was now sitting on his father’s lap watching the animals in the water, interrupted and asked: “Mom, don’t go”.

The three have been enjoying their days off and sightseeing since the start of the week in the Maldives, where they are staying in a luxury Hilton group chalet on a private island at the Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi.

Monique and Fred began dating in early 2016 and married in July 2018, before the player joined Manchester United, the English club where he still plays as a midfielder. Six months later, on January 16, 2019, Fred announced the birth of their first child, Benjamin.
