With 61 million followers on Instagram and all three Spider-Man “Home” movies out now, Tom Holland is hot stuff right now. The blokes might claim Zendaya is hotter, but Holland is turning out to be quite the masculine idol, even without the burliness.
So when Porsche decided to showcase Tom Holland experiencing the power of the Taycan Turbo S, we were not surprised. But it seems Spider-Man certainly got some new jollies, as it’s “his only way home” now.
Tom Holland’s “Oh My God” Porsche Taycan
What is Tom Holland’s reaction to the first time he sits behind the wheel of the Taycan at the Porsche HQ in Stuttgart, Germany? After the multiple “oh my gods” in various shades of excitement, it’s “My Mom will kill me if she could see me do that!”
Holland loves his Taycan and seems to keep it in London, having bought it from Porsche, Great Britain. Holland’s Taycan wears black paint, tinted windows to keep him and “his MJ,” aka Zendaya, hidden, and rides on 21” Taycan exclusive design wheels with carbon fiber aero blades.
With a total worth of $18 million, Holland can certainly afford the extra expense, and since it’s the European Porsche, it also comes with right-hand-side steering, as opposed to Holland’s Rolls-Royce Cullinan that he keeps reserved for his Hollywood jaunts.
Holland Is All For An Electric Supercar
Face it, the new generation of stars knows how to be politically correct and, while Holland has indulged in a Porsche supercar, it seems he has bought an electric toy. The Porsche Taycan Turbo S comes with a 93.4 kWh Li-ion battery with a 256-mile range on a single charge. It makes 750 horsepower with Overboost and can hit 0-60 MPH in a mind-boggling 2.8 seconds. The top speed is 161 MPH on its way to a top speed of 161 mph (260 kph). Considering quality always costs, the Porsche Taycan Turbo S starts at $185,000.
Both Zendaya and Holland zipped in this very car earlier in January, as they traversed London like lovebirds, finally meeting up with the rest of his family to catch some theater and dinner.
Holland announced his love for the car earlier as well, as he posted “I’ve gone electric!!! Thank you, Porsche, for a weekend we won’t forget and an incredible car. It’s perfect and I love it.” And it seems his Grandad Bob, his brothers, and his dad love it too.
