EMV measures engagement with social media content about a brand that is created by a third party.” In other words, it is a measuring system to see how much a post from a brand gets mentioned and how much the post garners attention on social media.

According to Karla Otto x Lefty, Jimin’s two posts for Dior created an EMV of $17 million, which accounted for 54% of Dior’s total EMV. As soon as BTS’s Jimin was named the global ambassador of Dior, he has been seen in various shows and events. Additionally, Dior’s social media posts with Jimin have received the most likes and the most views on Twitter and Instagram. On top of that, W Korea’s pictorial posts of Jimin also received the most likes on Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.
With Jimin’s solo debut coming ahead in March, his popularity is expected to increase along with the EMV for the artist.
