Christopher Robert Evans is an actor and director originally from Boston, Massachusetts, who is among the highest paid in the movie business.
Much of his talent in front of the camera was fostered by his mother Lisa, who – as a youth theater director – also influenced the career of his younger brother Scott Evans, an actor on the ABC soap opera “One Life to Live”.
Constant appearance on sets
Robert Evans’ first credited appearance in his career was in 1997 in an educational video entitled Biodiversity: Wild about Life!
Then, as a formal actor, he was cast as a supporting character in the teen comedy-drama Opposite Sex in the summer of 2000.
Subsequently, Evans appeared in series such as “The Fugitive”, “Skin” and “Boston Public”.
His early film work includes “Not Another Teen Movie” (2001), and in “Fierce People” (2005) and “London” (2005), the latter two were independent, low-budget films.
However, Robert Evans’ great leap to fame came in 2005, when he was chosen to play the superhero Johnny Storm, the Human Torch, in the film adaptation of the comic book “Fantastic Four”.
From then on, the actor did not stop appearing on the billboard and in 2011 he was recruited by Marvel to give him Captain America.
The big break
Three years later, Evans made his directorial debut in “Before We Go,” an independent romantic drama that screened at the Toronto International Film Festival.

At the age of 40, Robert Evans lives in California, where he owns a house in Beverly Hills, which he acquired in exchange for 3.5 million dollars.
