Is Gigi Hadid ducking brief beau Leo DiCaprio?
We’re told that supermodel Hadid — who, as Page Six first reported, got together with the “Titanic” star last year — was hanging at hot Financial District members club Casa Cipriani Friday night during New York Fashion Week.
But we hear she headed for the exit at the hotspot — which was something of an old haunt for the fleeting couple — suspiciously shortly before DiCaprio showed up and sat at her table.
A source tells Page Six that Hadid was at the club owner’s table “with a bunch of models,” but that almost as soon as she took off, DiCaprio arrived and sat with the very same models.
“[He] didn’t speak a word. He had his baseball cap on, only spoke to two of his male friends,” we’re told.
DiCaprio and Hadid were first linked in September during last season’s NYFW when they were spotted at a loft party and at Casa Cipriani.
In November, they were spotted on a date at, where else, Casa Cipriani.
A source told Page Six at the time that they were “getting to know each other” and not in a rush, but “taking it slow … They’ve mostly (been) hanging out with groups and solo a handful of times.”
But by December things seemed to have fizzled.
A source exclusively told Page Six that they “like each other very much, but neither one wants anything serious right now.” The source told us: “Gigi’s priority is her daughter.”
And noted DiCaprio’s routine, which can include running off to Miami or St. Barts, was “too much for her.”
“Gigi doesn’t have the energy to run after DiCaprio,” said our source.
DiCaprio had a busy week in NYC.
The recognizable “Revenant” star was also spotted at Socialista, Broadway play “The Collaboration” and Rosevale Kitchen, we’re told.
Page Six spies also saw him at the nightclub Gospel and at an immersive, roving party known as “Black Lotus” — put together by Gospel’s Juriel Zeligman and Rob Toma’s Teksupport — at Capitale.
We hear the eternal bachelor is back in Los Angeles.
